PROCESS ENGINEERING
The objective of NORDENIA INTERNATIONAL AG’s Process Engineering is to continuously improve efficiency and productivity of our international manufacturing sites. Thereby, a significant contribution is made to increase our competitive position in the future as one precondition for future growth. The World Class Production Program (WCP) provides the basis for excellent production standards, continuous improvement of the maintenance condition and availability of our production machinery, thus also ensuring the quality of our products.
Productivity and Efficiency
The definition of standardized production key figures and the continuous optimization of production reporting in close collaboration with the NIAG’s Group Controlling build the basis for benchmarking of productivity and efficiency of our international production sites.
Process Analysis and Optimization
Based upon the benchmarking of productivity results detailed process analyses are done on site at the production facilities. As a result of the process analyses necessary productivity improvement activities are summarized in action plans.The implementation of improvement activities is done in close collaboration with the persons responsible for production and the production teams. Involving the local experts as well as integrating the teams into the change processes and improvement activities is a vital precondition for the success. At the same time, it is the practical implementation of our shared values in our daily work.
Technical Know-how Transfer
Through attendance at our manufacturing sites, the process improvement oriented approach and continuous information exchange with the technical experts, the process engineering team is up-to-date according innovations, optimizations and best practices. This knowledge and know-how is shared with other subsidiaries to use synergy effects in process and productivity improvements.

Project Work
Project Work is one of the major tasks of Process Engineering. The role and responsibilities in the frame of project work has a wide spread from initiation or leading of projects as well as collaboration as team member. The focus of process engineering is laid on projects of international, multi entity and strategic relevance.
